Apogee Duet 3 (2021)

An ultra-slim 2-in/4-out interface whose analog connections live on an included breakout cable carrying two XLR mic/line inputs, two 1/4-inch instrument inputs, and two 1/4-inch line outputs. On the unit itself you get two USB-C jacks – one for the computer and one for optional external power – plus a 3.5mm headphone output driven by a high-current 'zero-ohm' amp. Despite the USB-C connectors it operates at USB 2.0 speeds. A separate Duet Dock accessory is available for desktop use.

Apogee’s slim 2×4 USB-C interface: two USB-C jacks plus a 3.5mm headphone out on the unit, with XLR, instrument, and line I/O on the included breakout cable.

Notes & Compatibility

2-in/4-out ultra-portable interface. Analog I/O is delivered through an included breakout cable: 2 XLR mic/line inputs, 2 instrument (1/4-inch) inputs, and 2 line outputs (1/4-inch) – kept in prose here, as they terminate off the breakout cable rather than on the unit (per import skill guidance for breakout interfaces). The unit itself exposes two USB-C jacks (data + optional external power) and a 3.5mm headphone output. USB 2.0 despite USB-C connectors. Optional Duet Dock accessory.
