Apple iPad Air (M3 2025)

Both iPad Air (M3) sizes have exactly one port: USB-C running USB 3 at 10 Gbps, with DisplayPort Alt Mode for an external display up to 6K@60Hz. It is not Thunderbolt — that is the iPad Pro. One port does charging, data and video, so a desk setup needs a powered hub if you want all three at once. The 11-inch and 13-inch differ only in screen and model number.

Apple’s M3 iPad Air in 11-inch and 13-inch Liquid Retina sizes. Single USB-C port at 10 Gbps with DisplayPort output and Apple Intelligence support.

Touch ID in the top button. Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C) supported. The Smart Connector is a 3-pin accessory contact for the Magic Keyboard, not a cable port.
