Apple's 2022 12.9-inch iPad Pro pairs the M2 chip with a mini-LED 'Liquid Retina XDR' display and the same Thunderbolt 3 / USB 4 USB-C port as its 11-inch sibling — up to 40 Gb/s for external 6K displays and Thunderbolt SSDs. The 3-pin Smart Connector on the back attaches a Magic Keyboard with no extra cable. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack, no microSD slot, and no Lightning port — wired audio needs a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter and storage expansion runs over Thunderbolt.
