Apple's 32-inch 6K reference display is built for professional video and photo work — Thunderbolt 3 carries the 6016×3384 signal and delivers up to 96W of charging back to the host Mac. Three downstream USB-C ports run at USB 2.0 only, so they're for low-bandwidth peripherals, not external storage. Like the Studio Display, there is no HDMI or DisplayPort input; Thunderbolt 3 (or USB-C with DP Alt Mode at reduced resolution) is the only way in.
Apple’s 32-inch 6K reference display with one Thunderbolt 3 (96W) and three USB 2.0 downstream USB-C ports.
