Apple's 27-inch 5K Retina display connects to a host Mac through a single Thunderbolt 3 port that delivers up to 96W of charging — enough to run any MacBook Pro through the same cable that drives the panel. Three downstream USB-C ports run at 10Gbps for accessories, drives, and Ethernet adapters. There is no HDMI or DisplayPort input — Thunderbolt is the only path in, so non-Thunderbolt PCs can use it only via USB-C with DP Alt Mode at reduced refresh rates.
