Apple's 2012 Apple TV outputs 720p or 1080p over a full-size HDMI 1.4 port and is one of the last models to include an optical TOSLINK digital audio output for older receivers. Unlike the streaming sticks of its era it has a wired 10/100 Ethernet jack alongside Wi-Fi, plus a built-in power supply that uses a detachable figure-8 (IEC C7/C8) mains cable.
