The AT-LP60X is a fully-automatic belt-drive turntable aimed at first-time vinyl buyers — drop the needle, lift the needle, and change speeds are handled by the deck itself. Its single output is unusual: a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack on the turntable that mates with the supplied 3.5mm-to-dual-RCA cable, switchable between phono (2.5 mV) and line level (150 mV). There is no ground terminal because the tonearm and motor are designed not to require one. Power is a 12V DC external supply, so the deck itself has no IEC mains inlet.

The only audio output is a 3.5 mm stereo mini jack on the deck itself, which is the cable trap on this turntable: an ordinary RCA-to-RCA interconnect will not fit it. Audio-Technica supplies a detachable 3.5 mm male to twin RCA male lead, and a replacement has to be that same shape. The PHONO/LINE slide switch changes what comes out of that jack. LINE gives 150 mV through the built-in RIAA preamp and goes to an amplifier’s AUX or line input; PHONO gives the raw 2.5 mV cartridge signal and needs a proper phono stage. LINE into a PHONO input will overload and distort. There is no ground screw and none is needed, so do not go looking for a ground terminal. Power is an external 12 V 2 A DC adapter on a barrel plug, which is not modelled as a port here. 33-1/3 and 45 RPM.
