Blackmagic's G2 refresh of the Pocket 6K is a Super 35 cinema camera with the kind of ports independent filmmakers actually need: full-size HDMI Type A, USB Type-C for direct-to-SSD external recording, and a 3.5mm mic input. The G2 also retains the Pocket 6K Pro's dual mini-XLR connectors — these are physically smaller than full-size XLR but still carry 3-pin balanced audio with phantom power, ideal for boom mics and lavaliers. Storage is a CFast 2.0 slot, an SD UHS-II slot, and the USB-C SSD recording option.
S35 cinema camera with full-size HDMI, USB-C SSD recording, 2× mini-XLR + 3.5mm audio inputs, CFast 2.0 and SD UHS-II.

Notes & Compatibility
Released 2022. Full-size HDMI Type A (HDMI 2.0b). USB-C is USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5Gbps) for external SSD recording. Dual mini-XLR audio inputs with phantom power — modeled as ‘Mini XLR (3-pin Balanced Audio)’ (uses proprietary naming because mini-XLR is physically different from standard XLR and not yet in the connector taxonomy; may need new connector entry). CFast 2.0 card slot and DC barrel power inlet intentionally omitted as discrete ports — no approved connector entries in the Cablebabe database.
