Bose's flagship 2021 5.0-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar uses upfiring dipole drivers and PhaseGuide arrays to create height and surround effects from a single bar — there is no included subwoofer or rears, though a Bose Bass Module and Surround Speakers can be added wirelessly. The rear panel is deliberately minimal: one HDMI eARC port, an optical TOSLINK fallback, a USB-C service port and a wired Ethernet jack. There are no HDMI inputs at all, so all video sources must connect to the TV first and pipe audio back via eARC. Atmos requires HDMI eARC — optical falls back to Dolby Digital 5.1.
Bose’s flagship 2021 single-bar Dolby Atmos soundbar with HDMI eARC, optical TOSLINK, Ethernet and USB-C service port — no HDMI passthrough.
