Canon's lightweight APS-C mirrorless camera outputs video over a Micro HDMI (Type D) port and, notably, uses only a slower Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Type-C terminal — so tethered transfers are far slower than the faster USB-C found on the pricier EOS R7. There is a 3.5mm microphone input for better sound, but no headphone jack, meaning you cannot monitor audio levels directly. Storage is a single SD slot that does support fast UHS-II cards. A 2.5mm remote terminal rounds out the connectivity.
