Dell UltraSharp U2725QE (2024)

Dell's 27-inch 4K business display centres on a Thunderbolt 4 hub — a single cable runs 4K@120Hz video, USB and 2.5G Ethernet to a host laptop, and delivers up to 140W of EPR charging (enough for thicker workstations). A second TB4 port supports daisy-chaining a second display. The HDMI 2.1 input handles 4K@120Hz with VRR but lacks eARC, ALLM, QMS, QFT and DSC. A 2.5G Ethernet port and built-in KVM switching round out the I/O.

Dell’s 27-inch 4K Thunderbolt 4 hub monitor with 140W charging, HDMI 2.1, KVM, and 2.5G Ethernet.

Notes & Compatibility

TB4 upstream delivers 140W EPR. HDMI 2.1 supports 4K@120Hz + VRR but not eARC, ALLM, QMS, QFT, or DSC. DisplayPort 1.4 out enables MST daisy chaining. Second USB-C is a 10Gbps KVM upstream with DP Alt Mode for switching between two hosts.
