The 2024 XPS 13 is Dell's first XPS with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chip and the same minimalist port philosophy as the Plus generation: two USB-C ports and nothing else. Both are USB4 40Gbps with DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery, one on each side for flexible charging. There is no built-in headphone jack — Dell ships a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter in the box. Note that despite being a Snapdragon laptop, the USB4 ports are not branded Thunderbolt (Thunderbolt is an Intel technology), so accessories that strictly require Thunderbolt may not work.
Dell’s 13″ Snapdragon X Elite ultrabook with two USB4 USB-C ports, no headphone jack, and no built-in HDMI or USB-A.
