Denon AVR-S770H (2023)

Denon's mid-range 7.2-channel receiver sits in the popular sub-$700 sweet spot, with 75W per channel and just enough HDMI 2.1 bandwidth for next-gen consoles. Three of the six HDMI inputs are full 8K/40Gbps, while the remaining three are HDMI 2.0b at 4K@60Hz — and the single HDMI output supports 8K and eARC. There is no phono input on this tier, but the receiver still covers the Dolby Atmos / DTS:X bases for a 5.1.2 or 7.1 setup. Audyssey MultEQ ships standard for room correction.

Denon’s 7.2-channel 8K AVR with 3x 8K HDMI inputs, 3x 4K HDMI inputs, 1x 8K HDMI eARC out and 2 subwoofer pre-outs.
