Focusrite's best-selling 4th-gen 2-in/2-out USB-C audio interface targets home-studio vocalists, podcasters, and producers. Each channel accepts mic or instrument, with 48V phantom and Auto Gain: an XLR socket on the rear and a separate 1/4-inch jack on the front, and plugging into the front jack switches that channel's XLR off. Balanced TRS outputs drive studio monitors and a 1/4-inch headphone jack sits on the front. The USB-C connector runs USB 2.0 protocol — no USB 3 bandwidth is used. Optional 5V DC input powers the unit when USB can't supply 900mA.
Focusrite’s 2-in/2-out USB-C (USB 2.0 protocol) audio interface with 2x XLR mic preamps, 2x TRS inputs, and balanced TRS monitor outs.

Notes & Compatibility
USB-C connector runs USB 2.0 protocol — no benefit from USB 3 ports. Inputs are not combo jacks: each channel has a separate XLR socket (rear) and 1/4″ jack (front), and a plug in the front jack disables that channel’s XLR. There’s an optional 5V DC barrel inlet for external power (not listed in the port table).
