LG UBK80 (2018)

This budget 4K UHD Blu-ray player keeps its rear panel deliberately simple. A single HDMI 2.0 output carries both 4K HDR video and audio to your TV or receiver — there is no second audio-only HDMI here, so an optical (TOSLINK) jack handles standalone digital audio. A front USB 2.0 port plays media files, and the Ethernet jack is intended mainly for firmware updates since the UBK80 has no built-in Wi-Fi. It supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision but not HDR10+.

Entry-level 4K UHD Blu-ray player with a single HDMI 2.0 output, optical digital audio, one USB 2.0 port, and wired Ethernet.
