Marantz's 9.4-channel reference AVR pairs the brand's signature warm musicality with a full complement of 8K HDMI 2.1 — seven inputs and three outputs, two of them simultaneous 8K Main feeds. Cinema 40 processes 11.4 channels with full pre-outs for every channel including four independent subwoofers, so building a hybrid amp-plus-power-amp rig is straightforward. Audyssey MultEQ XT32 with Dirac Live ready upgrade is included, and the moving-magnet phono input means turntables plug in directly. The styling is the classic Marantz porthole front, but the back panel is pure modern home cinema.
