Microsoft Surface Pro 8 (2021)

Surface Pro 8 was the design reboot that brought thin bezels, a 120Hz display, and two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports — Microsoft's first Surface Pro with Thunderbolt. Both USB-C ports support charging at up to 65W, 40Gbps data, and DisplayPort Alt Mode for an external monitor. A 3.5mm headphone jack survives on the left side (it was removed on Pro 9 onwards). Surface Connect lives on the right edge for magnetic charging or Surface Dock data, and the microSD slot was dropped in this generation.

Microsoft’s first Thunderbolt-equipped Surface Pro: 2x Thunderbolt 4 USB-C, Surface Connect, 3.5mm headphone jack, no microSD.
