Neumann KH 120 II (2023)

Neumann's KH 120 II is a 5.25-inch active reference monitor with onboard DSP and Automatic Monitor Alignment. Each cabinet self-amplifies and accepts both a balanced 3-pin XLR analog input and a coaxial S/PDIF digital input on RCA, with an S/PDIF output for cascading the signal to a second speaker or subwoofer. Connect the XLR to an interface, or feed S/PDIF straight from a digital source. The separate KH 120 II AES67 SKU swaps in redundant 100BASE-TX network ports; the standard model covered here does not have them.

Active reference monitor; ports are per-cabinet. Standard SKU has a balanced XLR analog input plus a coaxial S/PDIF (RCA) digital input and a digital output for cascading. The separate KH 120 II AES67 variant adds 2x redundant 100BASE-TX RJ-45 network ports (ST 2110/RAVENNA) — not modeled here as it’s a different SKU. DSP/Automatic Monitor Alignment configured via network/MA 1 (prose). AC mains via IEC inlet (prose).
