Nintendo's larger New 3DS model plays 3DS and DS cartridges with glasses-free 3D on a 4.88-inch upper screen. For wired audio it offers a standard 3.5mm stereo headphone jack on the front edge. Charging uses Nintendo's proprietary WAP-002 connector — the same barrel plug shared across the DSi, 2DS, and 3DS family — so there is no USB charging. Game data lives on a microSD card behind the back cover, and built-in NFC supports amiibo figures.
