Panasonic DP-UB420 (2018)

This US-market 4K UHD Blu-ray deck splits its outputs across two HDMI jacks: a main HDMI 2.0 port for 4K/60p HDR video plus audio, and a second HDMI 1.4 output that feeds audio to an older receiver. Digital audio also breaks out over a single optical (TOSLINK) jack — there is no coaxial output here, unlike the European DP-UB450. Two USB ports (front 2.0, rear 3.0) handle media playback, and a 10/100 Ethernet jack backs up the built-in dual-band Wi-Fi.

US 4K UHD Blu-ray player with dual HDMI (2.0 + 1.4 audio-only), optical digital out, two USB ports, and 10/100 Ethernet.

Notes & Compatibility

Dual-HDMI design: main HDMI 2.0 carries 4K/60p HDR video+audio, second HDMI 1.4 is audio-only for legacy receivers. Digital audio via OPTICAL only (no coaxial on this US SKU; the EU DP-UB450 uses coaxial instead). HDR10+ and Dolby Vision supported. Built-in dual-band Wi-Fi. IEC mains inlet kept in prose, not modeled.
