Panasonic DP-UB9000 (2018)

The DP-UB9000 is Panasonic's reference 4K UHD Blu-ray player, built around the company's HCX 4K processor and an audiophile-grade analog stage. A TWIN HDMI architecture splits A/V to the TV (HDMI 2.0a, 18 Gbps, Dolby Vision + HDR10+) and audio-only to a legacy receiver (HDMI 1.4a). Where it goes further than the DP-UB820 is the analog board: a dedicated 2-channel output appears on both stereo RCA AND balanced 3-pin XLR jacks, alongside a full 7.1-channel RCA bank for direct-to-amp configurations. Optical TOSLINK and coaxial S/PDIF outputs are both present, and IEC C14 mains feeds the chassis.

Reference 4K UHD Blu-ray with twin HDMI, balanced XLR + RCA stereo, 7.1ch RCA, optical, coaxial, USB 3.0, and IEC C14 mains.
