The analog-rich step up from the UBR-X100, this flagship universal player adds a full 7.1-channel RCA output (an 8-channel Burr-Brown DAC) plus a dedicated stereo output on both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR. Video and audio still split across a main HDMI 2.0b port and an audio-only HDMI 1.4 port, backed by coaxial and optical S/PDIF digital outs. Two USB ports (front 2.0, rear 3.0) handle media, with Ethernet and an RS-232C control port on the rear. It also plays SACD.
