Sony's launch PSP introduces the first widely-used USB Mini-B (USB 2.0) port on a handheld, enabling 480 Mb/s data transfer to and from a PC for save games, music and homebrew. The 3.5mm stereo headphone jack is paired with a smaller adjacent 4-pin remote control port for the optional in-line PSP remote, and the proprietary Memory Stick PRO Duo slot under the door holds Sony's then-flagship storage format. Power is a proprietary 5V DC barrel jack (4.0×1.7mm) — unlike later PSP-2000 and PSP-3000 models, the launch PSP-1000 has no built-in AV output.
Launch 2004 Sony PSP with USB Mini-B 2.0, 3.5mm stereo + PSP remote port, Memory Stick PRO Duo slot, and a proprietary 5V DC barrel inlet.

Notes & Compatibility
Internal Li-ion battery (~4–6 hours). The PSP-1000 has NO AV / TV output — composite, component and D-terminal video out were added on the PSP-2000 (Slim & Lite, 2007) and require its mini-jack AV port. USB Mini-B is full USB 2.0 (480 Mb/s) for data and limited secondary charging. Primary charging is via the proprietary 4.0×1.7mm 5V DC barrel jack and the official PSP-100 AC adapter. The 4-pin remote port below the headphone jack accepts the bundled PSP Remote Controller with inline mic; it is a separate connector from the 3.5mm stereo jack. UMD optical drive, IR receiver, WLAN switch and Memory Stick PRO Duo slot are modeled as device features where applicable. Uses proprietary power, memory and remote-control connectors not yet in the database — placeholder names for the post-batch connector-creation pass.
