The SL-1200MK7 is Technics' modern reissue of the iconic SL-1200 DJ turntable, built around a coreless direct-drive motor and a static-balance S-shaped tonearm with detachable headshell. Unlike the audiophile SL-1500C the MK7 is a pure DJ deck — the rear panel exposes a single PHONO-level RCA output via a detachable cable, a dedicated earth screw post for the cartridge ground wire, and a detachable 3-pin IEC C14 mains inlet supporting 100–240 V auto-ranging. There is no built-in phono preamp and no PHONO/LINE switch, so the MK7 must connect to a phono input on a DJ mixer or to an external phono stage.
Coreless direct-drive DJ turntable with detachable PHONO-level RCA output, ground post, and IEC C14 mains inlet.

Notes & Compatibility
PHONO-level output ONLY — no built-in phono preamp and no PHONO/LINE switch (unlike the audiophile SL-1500C). Output is a detachable RCA cable with gold-plated plugs; the rear chassis exposes gold-plated female RCA sockets. Dedicated earth screw post for the supplied ground wire — omitted here because the connector is not in the approved Cablebabe database (flagged for manual review). Mains inlet is a detachable 3-pin IEC C14 supporting 100–240 V 50/60 Hz, with a detachable C13-to-C14 cord. Some retailer listings incorrectly state the MK7 has a built-in phono preamp; the official Technics specification confirms PHONO-level output only.
