AVerMedia's professional-grade webcam uses a 4K Sony STARVIS sensor to capture 3840×2160 at up to 60fps, and it needs the bandwidth of a USB 3.1 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) connection to do it. The camera body has a detachable USB-C port and ships with a 2m USB-A to USB-C cable, so it connects to both modern and legacy machines. There is no video output and no separate audio jack — the single USB-C connection carries the video stream plus the stereo built-in mics. For full 4K60 keep it on a USB 3.x port; a USB 2.0 fallback will not sustain the top mode.
AVerMedia’s 4K60 professional webcam with a detachable USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1) port and stereo mics — needs USB 3.x for full 4K60.
