Elgato Facecam (2021)

Elgato's first webcam is one of the few in its class with a detachable cable: the camera body exposes a USB-C port and ships with a 2m+ braided USB-A to USB-C cable. It requires a USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) connection to deliver its uncompressed 1080p60 feed — on USB 2.0 it falls back to compressed MJPEG. There is no built-in microphone, no video output, and no card slot; the single USB-C port is the only connection. Because the cable is detachable, you can swap in a longer USB-C cable, but keep it USB 3.0-rated for full quality.
