Elgato HD60 S (2017)

This compact external capture card pulls an unencrypted HDMI signal into a PC over a single USB-C 3.0 (5 Gbps) cable, recording up to 1080p60. Both its HDMI input and lag-free HDMI passthrough top out at 1080p60 — there is no 4K passthrough on this original model (that arrived with the later HD60 S+). A 3.5mm line-in lets you mix in extra audio. You connect a camera or console with a standard HDMI cable, and the included USB-C-to-USB-A cable handles the link to your computer.
