The original Switch dock (HAC-007) is the one without a LAN port. It gives you one HDMI output to the TV, capped at 1080p, two USB 2.0 ports on the side, and a third USB port behind the back cover next to the AC adapter input and the HDMI connection. Wired internet needs a USB LAN adapter in one of those ports, since this dock has no Ethernet of its own. Power comes from the separate AC adapter. Below is the complete port list.
Official docking station for Nintendo Switch enabling TV mode gameplay at up to 1080p, featuring HDMI output and multiple USB ports for controllers and accessories. Compatible with all Nintendo Switch models except Switch Lite.
