Panasonic's 1993 R.E.A.L. 3DO was unusually well-connected for its era, offering three tiers of video from the rear panel: composite (RCA), S-Video, and RF, alongside a stereo RCA audio pair. S-Video delivers the cleanest picture of the built-in options without a mod. The console has a single proprietary controller port, but pads daisy-chain through a second port on each controller, so multiplayer needs no external tap. A rear expansion connector accepted the FZ-EG1 MPEG (Video CD) add-on.
