Sega Saturn (1994)

The Sega Saturn launched in Japan on November 22, 1994 and is the connector-densest pre-millennium Sega console: a 10-pin proprietary Multi-AV out on the rear (composite, S-Video and raw RGB on a single connector), a flat rectangular Communication Port for the Sega NetLink modem and the rare MIDI link, a top-panel cartridge slot for memory-card and 1MB/4MB RAM expansion carts, and two front-panel proprietary controller ports. Power is a non-polarised IEC C8 'figure-8' inlet on most regions (US models have a captive cord). The Multi-AV connector is the same pinout used by the Sega Genesis Model 2 and Sega Nomad, so many third-party SCART and component cables cover all three.

Sega’s 32-bit CD console with a 10-pin Multi-AV out, two proprietary controller ports, a NetLink-capable communication port, a cartridge expansion slot, and IEC C8 power.
