The AMBEO Soundbar Max is Sennheiser's flagship single-piece Atmos bar, with thirteen drivers powering a 5.1.4-channel virtual surround field calibrated to your room. Its rear jack pack is the most generous in the AMBEO line: a single HDMI 2.1 eARC output to the TV plus three HDMI 2.0 inputs that pass 4K HDR through, an optical TOSLINK input, a stereo RCA aux input, a mono RCA subwoofer pre-out, a Gigabit Ethernet jack and a USB-A service port. The bar still uses a detachable 2-prong IEC C7-to-C8 figure-8 mains cord, despite the 250 W amplifier section.

Notes & Compatibility
TV-facing HDMI is HDMI 2.1 with eARC (passes uncompressed Dolby Atmos TrueHD); the three source inputs are HDMI 2.0 (mapped to HDMI 2.0b tier). Single mono RCA subwoofer pre-out for adding a wired sub (the wireless AMBEO Sub uses Wi-Fi). Stereo RCA aux input accepts a CD player or legacy stereo source. Gigabit Ethernet alongside Wi-Fi and Chromecast built-in. USB-A is firmware/service only (no media playback).
