Sony Bravia 8 OLED (2024)

The Bravia 8 is Sony's 2024 WRGB OLED — successor to the A80L and the more accessible OLED next to the QD-OLED A95L. Like the rest of Sony's 2024 lineup, only HDMI 3 and HDMI 4 carry the full HDMI 2.1 spec at 48 Gbps with 4K/120 Hz, VRR and ALLM; HDMI 1 and 2 are HDMI 2.0b limited to 4K/60 Hz. eARC sits on HDMI 3, so connecting a soundbar costs you one of just two high-bandwidth ports — leaving only HDMI 4 free for a PS5 or Xbox Series X. Two USB ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Optical TOSLINK, an RF antenna input and a 3.5mm Center Speaker In jack round out the panel.

Sony’s 2024 WRGB OLED with 2× HDMI 2.1 (4K@120Hz, eARC on HDMI 3), 2× HDMI 2.0b, USB-A, Gigabit Ethernet and Optical out.
