Built on AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395, this mini workstation carries seven USB ports, two of them USB4 at 40Gbps — one front, one rear — each carrying DisplayPort Alt Mode. Add the physical DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 and you get four simultaneous displays up to 8K@60Hz, though the "3x DisplayPort" in spec tables means three DP signal paths, not three sockets. GMKtec makes no Thunderbolt claim anywhere, which is correct for an AMD host. A UHS-II SD reader sits on the front.

Notes & Compatibility
Shipping confirmed — reviewed by ServeTheHome (Jul 2025) and Notebookcheck (Sep 2025), sold in 64/96/128GB configurations. AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 (Strix Halo) with Radeon 8060S. Both USB-C ports are USB4 40Gbps with DisplayPort Alt Mode; GMKtec makes NO Thunderbolt claim and none exists — correct behaviour for an AMD platform. Spec tables listing “3x DisplayPort” mean three DP signal paths (1 physical DP + DP Alt Mode over both USB4 ports), not three sockets; combined with HDMI that allows up to four simultaneous displays at up to 8K@60Hz. Whether the USB4 ports support PD power output (e.g. charging a laptop) is not documented by any source. Powered by an external 19.5V/11.8A (~230W, marketed as 240W) DC brick with a barrel inlet — not modeled. No OCuLink, SFP+ or eSATA: the OCuLink port belongs to the sibling EVO-X3, do not conflate. A three-position Silent/Balanced/Performance switch sits on the front next to the power button.
