JBL's 2025 7.1.4 system pairs a soundbar with detachable battery-powered wireless surround speakers and a 10-inch wireless subwoofer. The connectivity panel is unusually well-stocked for a soundbar — three HDMI inputs alongside a dedicated HDMI eARC output to the TV, plus optical, USB-A media playback, and a Gigabit Ethernet jack. HDMI passthrough is rated at 4K@60Hz with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, so 4K@120Hz console gaming should connect to the TV directly and route audio back via eARC. PureVoice 2.0 dialogue enhancement and MultiBeam 3.0 calibrate the room automatically.
JBL’s 7.1.4 system with detachable battery surrounds, 3x HDMI inputs, HDMI eARC out, optical, USB-A and Gigabit Ethernet.
