The second-generation Legion Go keeps twin USB4 40 Gbps USB-C ports each with DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode, and adds a 3.5mm headset jack absent from the original. Both ports support 100W USB PD and external display output — one handles a dock or eGPU while the other supplies power. Like its predecessor, there is no official Thunderbolt 4 certification, but USB4 eGPU enclosures are confirmed compatible. The 74Wh battery makes the 100W PD charge rate genuinely useful.

Both USB4 ports carry DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode per Lenovo’s PSREF sheet, not DisplayPort 2.1. USB4 but not Thunderbolt 4 certified; USB4 eGPU compatibility confirmed in user testing. Lenovo’s PSREF sheet settles the charging question that was open here: both USB-C ports take USB PD 65-100 W in and give 15 W out, and the adapter in the box is 65 W — so 100 W is the port ceiling, not what Lenovo ships. The 74 Wh battery rapid-charges to 50% in 30 minutes. The two USB-C ports sit on opposite edges, top and bottom, so a dock and a charger do not have to share one side.
