Notes & Compatibility
This record documents the 13.5-inch model, which has one USB-C port with USB4 and Thunderbolt 4; the 15-inch model adds a second one, so a 15-inch owner has one more USB-C port than the table shows. There is no HDMI: video leaves over USB-C only, and Microsoft rates the Thunderbolt 4 port for one 8K monitor over DisplayPort, so a USB-C to DisplayPort or USB-C to HDMI cable is the direct route to a single screen. The magnetic Surface Connect port handles charging and Surface docks and is not modeled as a port here. Microsoft ships a 39W supply with the 13.5-inch and a 65W supply with the 15-inch, and fast charging needs at least 45W over Surface Connect or USB-C. Intel Core Ultra processors. First Surface Laptop with USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 support.
