Xbox 360 (Original, 2005)

The launch Xbox 360 shipped without HDMI: 2005–2006 units send video only through the rear AV Multi-Out, which takes component, composite, VGA and SCART cables. HDMI arrived with the 2007 Elite and Zephyr revisions. There's no optical socket on the console itself; digital audio comes from the TOSLINK port on the AV cable's connector. Three USB 2.0 ports (two behind the front door, one rear), two Memory Unit slots, 10/100 Ethernet and an external power brick round it out. Here's every port and the cables you'll need.

Microsoft’s second-generation HD gaming console. Early models (Xenon/Falcon) lacked HDMI; Elite model (2007+) added HDMI 1.2a. Supports up to 1080p output via component or HDMI.
