Adapter taking the Dreamcast’s 12-pin A/V port to a standard VGA D-Sub 15 output at 640×480 progressive. The console supports native 480p, which no other machine of its generation did — this is the sharpest picture a Dreamcast can produce.

Notes & Compatibility
Around 90% of the library supports 480p VGA; the rest force 240p or 480i and need a fallback path, so buy a box with a composite or SCART switch (Toro, Hanzo) rather than a bare VGA cable. Audio is separate — most boxes provide RCA or 3.5mm out. Some units accept optional 5V power for signal stability but run fine without it. Feed the VGA output to an upscaler for a modern panel.
