Composite A/V cable with the 9-pin mini-DIN plug used by the Genesis and Mega Drive Model 2, the 32X and the Nomad. It does not fit the Model 1, which uses an 8-pin DIN. Yellow, white and red RCA plugs at the display end.

Fits Genesis / Mega Drive Model 2, 32X and Nomad. Does NOT fit the Model 1 (8-pin DIN) — a common and frustrating mis-order. With a 32X fitted, run the cable from the 32X, not the console beneath it. The same port carries S-Video and RGB; on this hardware RGB is a large step up. Some Model 2 revisions have audibly noisy composite output that no cable fixes.
