Native RGB on both consoles — no mod. Master System audio is mono on most units; the cable should split it to both channels. Buy from a maker that specifies sync and shielding (Retro Gaming Cables, RetroAccess); generic leads are often composite-through-SCART. Wrong-connector orders are the most common mistake here: this is the 8-pin DIN, not the Model 2’s 9-pin mini-DIN.
