Hisense U7N (2024)

The U7N is Hisense's 2024 mainstream Mini-LED — a step below the U8N but still pitched at gamers, with around 384 dimming zones on the 65-inch model and a quoted 1,500-nit peak. Two of its four HDMI ports are full HDMI 2.1 at 48 Gbps supporting 4K/144 Hz, VRR and ALLM; the other two are HDMI 2.0 capped at 4K/60 Hz. eARC sits on HDMI 3 — one of the HDMI 2.1 ports — so attaching a soundbar there leaves only one full-bandwidth port for a console or PC. Wired I/O rounds out with two USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Optical TOSLINK, an RF antenna input and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Hisense’s 2024 mainstream 4K Mini-LED with 2× HDMI 2.1 at 48Gbps (eARC on HDMI 3), 2× HDMI 2.0, 2× USB-A and Ethernet.

Notes & Compatibility

HDMI 1 and 2 are HDMI 2.0 (4K@60Hz). HDMI 3 and 4 are full HDMI 2.1 (48Gbps, 4K@144Hz, VRR, ALLM); eARC sits on HDMI 3, which means using a soundbar there gives up one of just two high-bandwidth ports.
