Hisense U8N Mini-LED (2024)

Hisense's 2024 U8N is the mid-flagship of the ULED Mini-LED line, slotted between the U7N and the halo U9N. Connectivity is gaming-friendly: two HDMI 2.1 ports run at the full 48 Gbps with 4K/144 Hz, VRR and ALLM, while the other two are HDMI 2.0 at 4K/60 Hz. Crucially, Hisense moved eARC off the high-bandwidth ports onto one of the HDMI 2.0 inputs — that keeps both HDMI 2.1 ports free for a PS5/Xbox Series X plus a gaming PC even when a soundbar is in the mix. Two USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Optical TOSLINK, an RF antenna input and a 3.5mm headphone jack handle the rest.

Hisense’s 2024 mid-flagship 4K Mini-LED with 2× HDMI 2.1 at 48Gbps, 2× HDMI 2.0 (eARC moved here), 2× USB-A, Ethernet and Optical out.

Notes & Compatibility

HDMI 1 and 2 are full HDMI 2.1 (48Gbps, 4K@144Hz, VRR, ALLM). HDMI 3 and 4 are HDMI 2.0 (4K@60Hz); eARC has been deliberately moved to one of these so both HDMI 2.1 ports stay free for high-bandwidth gaming sources.
