Rega Planar 1 (2016)

Rega's plug-and-play belt-drive turntable keeps connection simple: a captive stereo cable ends in a pair of RCA plugs you run straight to a phono input. There is no built-in phono stage, so an amplifier with a phono input or an external MM preamp is required. The fixed cable means no swapping interconnects, and no separate ground wire is needed. There's no USB or Bluetooth — this is a focused analog deck with a factory-fitted Carbon cartridge.

Rega’s plug-and-play belt-drive turntable with a captive RCA output cable and no built-in preamp — pure analog, no USB.
